It's one of those hectic days in
Oban when Paul won't tell why he is wearing a red hat with bells
This one is going to swallow a
lot of Jet 1, that's good for business
After much brainstorming (most
of the local airfields are closed on Saturdays and Sundays), we
take off for Gigha
Duart Castle, which we visited
on Mull. Still no ghost, too bad
Even after four days full of emotions
and sights, we still enjoy every single minute
Island after island on the horizon
"Paps" of Jura
Colonsay island. We looked for
the farm strip and never found it (mistook the runway white marker
for a sheep)
Islay (won't taste the whisky,
airfield is closed)
Scottish Information having seen
us island hopping all over asks us whether we are enjoying the week
end
An another plane has called the
frequency to signal it was going to Gigha. Scottish Info asks us
whether there's a party on Gigha tonight (2 planes for a 6 by 1
mile island, that's a lot indeed !)
Turning final in Gigha
Final in Gigha, the grass has been
cut but is still sticky

All landing fees details are written
here
and Charlie Mike is happy !
The all in one : post office -
bed and breakfast - island shop - petrol station
